Gray Cast Iron Motor Housing
It is the outer protective structure of the elevator drive motor and an important component that ensures the safety and stability of the elevator operation.
Main Functions:
1. Protect key components such as motor windings, bearings, and rotor from environmental damage, thereby extending the motor’s service life.
2. Usually designed with cooling fins or ventilation holes to help dissipate heat, maintain the motor temperature within a reasonable range, and prevent overheating.
3. Prevent operators from coming into contact with the high-speed rotating rotor or live electrical parts, avoiding accidental injuries.
